What are good ways to get a job at a large store, like Target?

You have to fill out an application and answer their survey they are looking for a certain type of slave. One they can beat up and underpay. It is a good job for a kid and does keep you off the streets and busy. A good start. Just answer the questions the way they want to hear them.

They want honesty and perfection and someone that can take abuse.

Fill out everything with as much detail as possible...don't leave anything blank or put in any I don't knows...at the interview answer the questions as quickly as possible without using um's or that's a hard question because if you don't know the answer they will wonder what else you don't know.  Go dressed in business clothes and carry 2 resumes so you and the interviewer have one...a briefcase will do wonders and having a pen and paper will make you look prepared...make sure you are properly groomed.  Come in with a smile and leave with the same....shake hands and that should help you out a lot
