What are good workouts that will keep you in great shape for hockey?

i need some good workouts to keep my stamina and endurance up. I need to have strong arms. PLease give me ideas.

  1. Go for regular runs, and do weight training three times a week (every other day giving your mussels a day to recover).  Use a stationary bike as much as you can it'll boost your stamina and strengthen your legs.


  2. I'd definitely focus on push ups/pull ups because those will have a GREAT impact on your arms.  If you have a Wii, play some Wii tennis :)

    You should also do cardiovascular training: do a little, then let it add up to a lot.  The first day, you may be able to handle a 15 minute run.  The next day, do a 20 minute run, etc.  Then just do it consistently.

  3. push ups and sit ups and go for 2 mile walks that way u can win all of games and be a chapin

  4. well go to fhit its a hockey camp.  (amazing)

    but to play hockey u always need a good core. so start with crunched and 7 min abs. then lower with wieghts then upper. then sprints.
