  1. Goodwill stores are second hand retail stores, they are old things that are donated from people and resold at a cheap price. When you go to make a donation you can also get a reciept for your taxes.


  2. Goodwill stores sell lots of donated household items. Most of the items are used, but you can also find some new items as well. They are a thrift store. I donate old clothing, furniture, craft items quite frequently.

  4. Goodwill is a chain of stores that sell products donated by individuals and sometimes by companies. Much of their merchandise is clothing and accessories, though they also sell books, dinnerware, electronics, furnitures, videos/DVDs, CDs/cassettes, toys. Most of the merchandise is donated by individuals who have just cleaned out their closets or homes, however, may companies will donate their products. Usually when they've received merchandise or shipping materials that were damaged, they just send it to Goodwill.

    The money in sales that Goodwill gets go to funding employment training for the mentally ill.
