What are ground effects???

Question

i heard someone say something about them on a mustang tonight and i dont even know what they are... could you all show me a pic of them preferably on a mustang..?? thanks yall :)

Ground effects are essetially body kits for cars. When you hear someone speak of ground effects, usually they are referring to body kits. On a side note, some people also call Neon undercar light kits ground effects. But most of the time it will be about body kits. Here's some pics for reference. First is a picture of a stock mustang without ground effects, and the following are of mustangs with ground effects. See the bottom "add on" pieces? Those are ground effects.

Ground Effects is a general term used to describe the front bumper, side skirts, or rear bumper/anything that is directly above the ground.

just google mustang with ground effects.....its trim..ie.front and rear spoiler bodyside moldings etc..they help the looks of most cars
