  1. probably thinking "i hope she knows i could do that to her if i wanted to and what a great guy i am for NOT doing that." :D

  2. I find rape scenes and scenes in movies where women are abused to be very disturbing.  It is uncomfortable for me to watch it alone and much more uncomfortable to watch in mixed company.    It does provide and opportunity to discuss the problem of abuse, but only if you are comfortable enough with an individual that you can be open and blunt in your discussion.

What I find disturbing is when there is scene in the movie when a man is forcing himself on a woman and I feel the director is trying to use the scene as a sexual turn on rather than condemn the actions of the aggressor.

  3. Maybe they are thinking about what you are thinking about.

  4. it depends. some rape or harassment scenes on movies are made to titilate the male audience. a s**y, dumb girl getting cornered, harassed and succumbs to the advances of the attacker either impliedly or explicitly is intended to attract male viewers. however, a gruesome rape of a respectable lady or a helpless girl is done to foment rage and anger on both male and female viewers. it's all about hollywood marketing. so as for your man's reaction, it depends on what rape scene did the movie present.

  5. i'd be thinking that the person committing the rape would be dead if it were my gf..
