What are hero's personality's in shakespeare's much to do about nothing

  1. Well, I would characterize her as an innocent.  In the first part of the play, I might go so far as to call her shy and timid--especially with respect to her interaction with Claudio.  Again, she's pure.  

    I do think she does show some strength though after her 'death.'  Meaning, I don't think her character is static--there is a transformation she goes through as an effect of being verbally 'defiled.'

    And if you haven't read the play, Kenneth Brannah's Film is extremely well done and easy to get through in a few hours.  Watching the play makes it so much easier to understand when you have the actors--Hero is played by Kate Beckinsdale (Pearl Harbor, Underworld) and you'll see a few other familiar faces like Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, and Micheal Keaton.
