  1. Homo in Latin means man but homo in Greek means same.

    Modern man does art.  That's why there is Latin phases above modern art museums and the Greek modern man knows good clothes.  They are from French caves where they grew mushrooms.  That's how they got art.

  2. Well it depends what do you mean by homo? Homosexual? Homogeneous? Homo as it is, it means "Same"

  3. `Jingles has it right;

    King Billy was a poofter

  4. Ask your parents.

  5. Homo means man. Therefore, Homo hablis, homo erectus, Homo neandertal & Homo sapien are the 4 types of what we consider man.  Homo hablis = handy man because he made tools.  Homo erectus simply means upright man (but hablis also walked fully upright.)  Homo neandertal was named for neanderthal valley where the 1st bones/fossils were found. Homo sapien means man that knows.

    All lines of Homo, except neandertal, evolved in Africa... both neandertal & sapien evolved from Homo erectus.

  6. Skull morphology - Cro Magnums came from Europe.

  7. It is much better to call a spade a spade in your own language, then we all know where we are coming from. A homo in English Scots Welsh and Northern Irish is Poofter. Which has nothing to do with the anthropological version.

  8. Modern Homo comes from Africa.  Skull features are what constitute modernity in genus homo- lask of brow ridges, a pronounced chin, more slender face.  Homo sapiens is usually considered apart from other species of Homo on the basis of brain size- a cranial capacity of 1300 cubic centimeters is considered in the normal range for homo sapiens.
