Like using coffee grounds as deodorizer, getting rubber bands on tooth paste to get the last dabs out, using newpapers on windows to prevent moisture buildups, those little things that can save a dollar or more, I really need to save from now on. I also heard top of radishes could be used to clean counters. I'll give best answer to the biggest list. O.o

  1. I use old clothes to clean instead of wash cloth that we buy at a dollar store.

To save more, count the hangers in your closet. Make sure that you don't buy clothes that go over the the number of hangers you have. If you have more than what your hangers can contain, have a garage sale. Before you go to shop next time, take the clothes that you feel need to be replaced/ you don't need/like anymore, then buy a new one. If you can't take any clothes off your hangers, that means that you actually don't need any new clothes. :)

  2. ~~I like to put a few marbles in any bottle that sprays or pumps. It keeps the levels of the product higher so you can easily spray or pump the last bit of product from it.

Keep peppermint oil on hand to wash your counter tops with (add oil to the water), then spray and wipe. Deters ants.

~~Use aluminum foil (maybe after you covered a casserole dish to bake), as a great scrubber for pots and pans. You can also fold in several layers and cut through it with your scissors, sharpens them right up.~~

~~If you use Brillo pads for scrubbing, and you still have allot left with soap in it, wring it out and put right back in the box with the unused ones, it never rusts and stays perfect until there is nothing left of it!~~

    Example of just a few

    :

    Clever Uses for Baby Wipes:

Quick clean-up: Baby wipes are great for quickly cleaning phones, sticky purse linings, and dirty hands.

Sink touch-up: Use baby wipes for spiffing up faucets and sinks (but they're not safe for marble or granite).

    OR

    Clever Uses for Coffee Grounds:

Fertilizer: Spread grounds over flower beds containing acid-loving plants such as azaleas and rhododendrons.

"Fridge freshener": Put dry grounds into an old margarine tub with holes poked in the lid. Place the tub in the refrigerator to absorb odors.

Odor-eliminator: Keep grounds in a can near the sink. Rub a small amount over your hands after peeling onions, chopping garlic or handling fish to get rid of the odor.
