  1. You seem to have the passion and drive necessary to become successful, so you may want to take a few classes to learn about proper exposure, lighting, composition, lens choice and camera positions before you spend a dime on studio equipment ...

That said, when you are ready you will want at least one 750 watt lamp with an umbrella (key light) and a couple of 500 watt lamps (fill and background light) and some kind of background stand with some paper or cloth backgrounds.

  2. To create a white background a blank space on a white wall can be used for a white background.  Or a white sheet tacked to the wall will work too, but make sure it is not wrinkled, because the wrinkles will show and can be very distracting.  Or paper or cloth backgrounds can purchased from a regular camera store, in any color imaginable and hung from a background stand that can also be purchased at the camera store.  As well the backgrounds, you need lights, and a photographic umbrella.  Ideally you should have  three lights(either hot lights or strobe) a main light that is normally placed at 45 degree to the subject, a fill light that is normally placed next to the camera on the opposite side of the fill light, and a background light that is placed behind the subject and aimed at the background, out of the cameras view.  The umbrella is used to bounce light back onto the subjest and gives a very soft and diffused type of lighting or it can also be used instead of a light or strobe by bouncing natural light coming through a window.  That covers just the lighting equipment.  One needs to learn how to see light and shadows and how the interact and how the can be manipulated by raising and lowering the lights and moving them back and forth and side to side.
