What are hybrid muscle fibers?

I have heard of slow twitch, fast twitch, and intermediate muscle fibers. I know that the fast ones r the glycotic 1s an the slow 1s r the oxidative 1s.

But i haven heard alot about the hybrid muscle fibers. F u kno about them please answer i would love 2 kno.

  1. Hybrid Muscle Fibers, when compared with limb and trunk muscles,  are highly unusual. IThe Jaw muscles for example are hybrid muscles...In addition to the normal slow, type I, and fast, type II, fibers, they contain fiber types which are typical for developing or cardiac muscle. Another remarkable feature is that many of the fibers are hybrid (for example, type I+IIX, or type IIA+IIX). In limb and trunk muscles, hybrid fibers are thought to be those that are in transition from one fiber type into another, since they are predominantly found during disuse or during extreme usage of the muscles.
