What are import tax rates into Brazil?

Hi there

I want to buy some bodybuilding supplements from a US company and have them shipped to Brazil, where I am working for a few months.

I don't expect the cost to be more than around $50 for the products themselves.

What would the import tax be on this into Brazil?

I read something about no import tax for goods under $50 into Brazil - can anyone confirm this?

This website lists some general information about import tax rates.  It may be easier to ask someone who is in the import/export business to help you out to make sure that all taxes are correctly paid.
