What are important things to know for a 10th grader who will be taking geometry?

I wanna look up things now and start studing before hand. Any formulas or things that are crucial to taking geometry would help a lot. Thanks =)

You need to know this one thing that will change you forever: Geometry is one of the easiest math classes(besides Algebra 1), stop worrying!

You have to practice to get all those principles into your long-term memory.  Turn off the TV, music, IPod, etc., and study study study.  And remember everything is relevant and there are 360 degrees in a circle.

you'll definitely want to remember your algebra 1 stuff it's important and study about shapes and don't forget anything that your teacher teaches you because it's all tied together

You really need to pay attention, and make sure you understand things. Everything connects with other things, and if you don't understand one thing, a few other topics will be difficult. There are a few formulas you need to memorize, just make sure you have a page of notes for each different topic and explain it a bit so you can remember.

Pythagorean Theorem is a BIG one...however, a lot of geometry is about knowing definitions, postulates, and theorems (at least it was for our class).

Geometry's way easier than algebra.  I took it last year and I did WAY better than I did in Algebra.  All I can think of is maybe the 30-60-90 triangle formula and the 45-45-90 triangle formula.

Geometry is pretty much like algebra.But there are more formulas in it. To succesed all you have to do is do your homework, pay attention to what teacher explains.If you do so you will pass it, with an A or even A+

there isn't really anything that you can study because you will learn stuff you never heard of before. All you need to really know that you can study is all the formulas on a formula chart. idk if they give you guys the same ones. you will learn them all in the class and most of the time you don't even need to remember formulas they will give them to you.
