  1. Instinct, is the knowing, without knowing how you know.  That sixth sense.  That gut feeling.  The little voice in your head.

The bell that went off, but you did not notice!

And I trust in it completely.

    Peace.

  2. Instinct is collective intelligence. It allows us to sip at the lessons learned by those who came before us. I do trust them.

  3. Instincts are kind of like first impressions.  They are reactive impulses to situations that do not actually require cognitive thought.  I usually trust my instincts.  I find I'm much more likely to make mistakes when I take the time to think things over.  I usually think situations are more complicated than they actually are and rationalize my way into the wrong response.  As such, I try to "go with my gut" most of the time.

  4. Priming created by intrinsic knowledge and response patterns held in the DNA by the descendants of those who survived certain situations.

The DNA responses are usually more appropriate to a fight-flight, eat or be eaten situation. The intrinsic knowledge can be just as wrong as extrinsic knowledge.

There are collected recognitions from sources out of Asia that are universally applicable, but they challenge pop-culture too much to be revealed here.

  5. you know what, i trust my instincts. or rather, i dont trust them and then land up feeling regretfull. ALL the times.
