What are is the best school to go to for science research?

That can depend a lot on what kind of research you want to do, and what field.  I assume you're going for your bachelors degree.  You can go to a big school well-known for science (Berkeley, Harvard, CalTech, etc) but it can be hard to get involved in research as an undergrad, since those schools usually pick the grad students first (more knowledge, experience, and expected to devote more time to the project).  So you might want to consider a liberal arts school, where the professors have to take on undergrads because they don't have grad students.  Or you could go to one of the big schools and spend your summers in REU (research experience for undergraduates) programs at other universities - I went to a small liberal arts school and spent my summers at big-name universities doing research.  Now I'm getting a PhD.
