  1. Do you have several years to learn?

There are many and they are vast - but if you read your Torah you will learn.

Actually, jewfax says it well, and if you read this, you will see additional information:

Judaism is not just a set of beliefs about G-d, man and the universe. Judaism is a comprehensive way of life, filled with rules and practices that affect every aspect of life: what you do when you wake up in the morning, what you can and cannot eat, what you can and cannot wear, how to groom yourself, how to conduct business, who you can marry, how to observe the holidays and Shabbat, and perhaps most important, how to treat G-d, other people, and animals. This set of rules and practices is known as halakhah.

The word "halakhah" is usually translated as "Jewish Law," although a more literal (and more appropriate) translation might be "the path that one walks." The word is derived from the Hebrew root Hei-Lamed-Kaf, meaning to go, to walk or to travel.

  2. Can you be a bit more specific? Pertaining to what? There are quite a few. ;-)

  3. Eating bagels, lox and cream cheese every Sunday morning. Complaining about everything even if you don't feel like complaining about it. Also once in your life you have to make a pilgrimage to the Cats-gills to listen to corney jokes.

  5. Washing Hands before we eat at every meal.

    Birchas Hamazon (Grace after meals).

    Lighting Candles for the Sabbath.

    Praying 3 times daily.

    Keeping a kosher diet.

Wearing certain religious items, Kippa (Head covering) or Tallis (Prayer Shawl) or Tefillin (Phylacteries).

Facing East toward Jerusalem while Praying.

Keeping Holidays such as Passover, Rosh Hashanah (New year)... more Holidays...

Giving newborn boys a circumcision on the 8th day after birth.

    Married women cover their hair.

    Saying the "Shema" each day.

    The list goes on...

  6. there are millions, which one do you want?

  7. Wikipedia is your friend. Besides there are a lot of customs. Any specific one you want to know about?

  8. Big question, and it's now the Jewish shabbat so most Jews won't be back until Sunday.

  9. Wow, that's a broad question.  We have lots & lots of holidays throughout the year.  We have prayers & customs around  the prayers.  Then there's the commandments, all 613, & alll the ways of working with them.

This site gives a nice overview of Judaism:  www.jewfaq.org

It's from an Orthodox (more religious) view, but well written, & the core beliefs fit for all Jews.

I'd skip wikipedia - I haven't found it to always be a great source on Judaism other than to find words to google.  A better overview site is:
