  1. they aren't the same God.

    The flood was not local

  2. All three are monotheistic, but theirs is not necessarily the same God.

  3. They do not believe in the same God.

  4. It's a family quarrel, you wouldn't understand.

  5. Jews & Christians believe in the same God.

Muslims believe in a TOTALLY different god

  6. Read the book "Fighting words: the origins of religious violence" by Hector Avalos. Basically, religious beliefs create artificial scarcities e.g. the territory of Israel has little economic value - no oil, few resources etc. - but once it is declared to be the "Holy Land", then each of the three groups will fight to the death over it because they feel it is "contaminated" if one of the other two get control over it.

  7. Jews believe in Yaweh... who is abrahams interpretation of God

Christians believe in Christ and what he had to say about God

Muslims believe in who Mohammed said God was...

Originally they were all the same God, but with man's twisting and perverting of God's word, the divisions of sects have come about with malice and hate close behind. It's unfortunate... Jews and Muslims don't believe Christ was the Messiah, as do the Christians. Jews and Muslims see him as a good man, but a false prophet. Jews and Christians see Mohammed as a man that was given a false revelation by satan pretending to be God. But yes, it all began with the God of Abraham, Issac and Joseph... the true God, El Shaddai

  8. We may believe in the Same God, but, we have different views on how to worship Him.

  9. Iz not gud ta divide must has whole think and eat itz.

  10. Muslims and Christians both believe in one personal and transcendent God who has sent his prophets into the world. They both believe in sacred writings that record the prophetic revelations the Quran and Bible. They both believe that Jesus was a prophet who was sinless and born of a virgin. And they both worship with these beliefs firmly in place. We are speaking of Muslims and Christians, whose members comprise the two largest monotheistic religions in the world.

If indeed Muslims and Christians worship the same God, there would be little need for disagreement, dialogue, and debate between them. If I am satisfied to shop at one grocery store and you are satisfied to shop at another store, why should I try to convince you to shop at my store or vice versa?

Although Islam and Christianity are both monotheistic, their views of God differ considerably. Islam denies that God is a Trinity — that one God eternally exists as three co-eternal and equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).1 Islam also rejects that God became a man in Jesus Christ (John 1:1-18).2 These doctrines are cornerstones of Christianity. But God cannot be both a Trinity (Christian) and not a Trinity (Islam).

  11. The idea of God is different.

They all say there's 1 God... but Jews and Muslims do not divide God up into a 3 piece suit.

  12. They don't believe in the same God. Their Gods differ greatly from one another. And everybody wants to be right. Maybe we should all become Buddhists?

  13. Jehovah and Allah are NOT the same.  That's why they fight.

  14. That IS an interesting observation...

Not all Christians get involved in fights though. There are almost 7 million worldwide who endeavor to live by Jesus words in John 13:34,35.

    Jehovah's witnesses.

  15. Quran Ch : 5

    44.   Verily, We did send down the Taurât (Torah) [to Mûsa (Moses)], therein was guidance and light, by which the Prophets, who submitted themselves to Allâh's Will, judged for the Jews. And the rabbis and the priests [too judged for the Jews by the Taurât (Torah) after those Prophets] for to them was entrusted the protection of Allâh's Book, and they were witnesses thereto. Therefore fear not men but fear Me (O Jews) and sell not My Verses for a miserable price. And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has revealed, such are the Kâfirûn (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allâh's Laws).

    45.   And We ordained therein for them: "Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal." But if anyone remits the retaliation by way of charity, it shall be for him an expiation. And whosoever does not judge by that which Allâh has revealed, such are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers - of a lesser degree).

    46.   And in their footsteps, We sent 'Isa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), confirming the Taurât (Torah) that had come before him, and We gave him the Injeel (Gospel), in which was guidance and light and confirmation of the Taurât (Torah) that had come before it, a guidance and an admonition for Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).

    47.   Let the people of the Injeel (Gospel) judge by what Allâh has revealed therein. And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has revealed (then) such (people) are the Fâsiqûn (the rebellious i.e. disobedient (of a lesser degree) to Allâh.

    48.   And We have sent down to you (O Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur'ân) in truth, confirming the Scripture that came before it and Muhaymin (trustworthy in highness and a witness) over it (old Scriptures). So judge among them by what Allâh has revealed, and follow not their vain desires, diverging away from the truth that has come to you. To each among you, We have prescribed a law and a clear way. If Allâh had willed, He would have made you one nation, but that (He) may test you in what He has given you; so compete in good deeds. The return of you (all) is to Allâh; then He will inform you about that in which you used to differ.
