  1. Either 6 poles creating a narrow alley on one end of the arena. You and your horse have to run through it, turn around and run back without knocking any poles - fastest time wins.

    Or, a chalk outline of a short alley connected to a large circle (like the shape of a keyhole) that you have to run into, turn around in, and run back out of without stepping on or out of the lines. Again, fastest time wins.

  3. A keyhole race is a gymkhana event. A keyhole shape is made at one end of the arena with lime or flour and the object is to run down, ride into the keyhole, spin around, run home without displacing any of the keyhole marker (basically no crossing the lines in the sand)
