  1. I presume you are talking about Lady Anne Boleyn and Queen Elizabeth 1st. Lady Anne's was fairly simple, she wanted power, fame and wealth. She was not exactly subtle about this, she stated several times fairly blatently that she wanted to be queen and begin a line of Howard rulers (Howard being her family.) This is why she went to such desperate measures to conceive. As for Elizabeth, it is probably easiest to say her motivations were largely to prove the suspicions of her paternity, as she spent her entire youth being told she was the b*****d of her mother and a musician. She strove for the love of her people, and was desperate not to offend anyone if possible.

  2. Which Lady Anne and which Queen Elizabeth? There have been dozens of queens called Elizabeth in European history, and the must have been hundreds of Lady Annes.
