  1. Cash and investment instruments that can be turned into cash immediately (like stocks and bonds).


  2. Liquid funds include:

    - Cash in an individual savings bank account

    - Cash in an individual checking bank account

    - Individual Certificates of Deposits (CD’s)

    - Country based Money Market accounts that can be withdrawn immediately as cash in that country's currency

    - Jewels

    - Fixed Deposits.

    In short, what ever items that are readily convertible into cash are called liquid funds.
