Do you know the best way to get rid of these little white fly looking bugs that seem to be invading my hibiscus tree? Will then kill the plant? Do you know of any home remedies

  1. They are quite literally called "White Fly" and it's a pest that attacks garden plants.   They won't kill the plant they just might make it look bad.

The white fly is a symptom.  Your hibiscus is already unhealthy.  You can spray noxious bug killers (I would try Safer Insecticidal Soap, it's organic and it will kill em'), but your hibiscus is still going to be unhappy and a target for more pests and disease.

Check out your plants thoroughly.  Are they getting full sun?  Enough water?  Too much water?  Fix the plant because a happy healthy plant is the best defense against nuisance bugs.

  2. One simple remedy is if the plant is in a container try moving it to a windier spot. The tiny flies literally won't be able to hold on in a brisk breeze. Insecticidal soaps are a good option but often common household dish soap will work sprayed in solution with water.
