  1. I think MataJi is just the Goddess

  2. there are 2 different meanings of mata ji in india

    one is for godess

second one is for a mother

  3. Normally, Mata ji is a term for Mother used in Northern parts of India. Mata= Mother. The 'ji' is respect.

Guess we all possess a Mother.

Or maybe a Priest. A saintly person is what you mean. All do not have that. Some get attached to them. For guidance to reach to ones innermost point- that is nearer to God.

For Meditation so you are free from re- birth.

    All very complicated I guess.

  4. Hey,

I live in the UK but during Navratri, we got to see Mataji-the Mataji i am referring to here..they basically think Maa has come into them and they bless everyone and it usually happena during aarti time when everyone is singing in the mandir or at their house where bhakts come for aashirwad during navratri. Here in UK, a LOT of people get very emotional when they meet mataji because hey..they have a lot of stuff going on etc and maa blesses them and sometimes even gives them something if u no wot i mean like as a blessing.

People say that they are actually not in their full conscious and not in the right state of mind when they become 'posessed' as they do not remember anything after the affect is over.

But PLEASE be careful to stay away from phoneys-fakes who claim they are but are in there 4 the money:@

but yeah, these people are the 'chosen ones' and its all a matter of faith if u believe in them or not. Just don't get confused with the 3 types of mataji's

    Maa is mother

mataji can be the mother of all-lord durga..saraswati, kali maa etc

or we call the ladies who have been posessed with matajis shakti as mataji too.

hope i made any sense at all lol.

    Jai Mata Di!
