What are measures i can take to ensure a good sound quality from my speakers?

I want to attach my rear speakers to a stereo and TV, along with my central, mid, and front speakers. I wanna see how it works out. However, I want to know what good measure i can take to make sure that the best sounds quality comes from my speakers. How can i get the best signal to my speakers (rear)?

The most important thing is to pay attention to polarity....

this means that although you have two wires for the speaker and they work connected either way you need to make sure you are connting to the correct positive and negative wires.

Also you need to make sure that you sound system is  plugged into a seperate power circut than the tv and or as you may find through trial and error, any other device that may interfere with the power causing buzzing though speakers...

then theres proper placement of the speakers,cant put those near lights
