  2. they are little worms that are in a ''egg'' which is the bean.

    they try to eat out but it takes a while this causes them to jump.

  3. basically they are worms that live inside of bean like cocoons- the reason they are called jumping beans is because while inside they are trying to eat their way out causing them to "jump"
