  2. yes.

  3. yes excatly that i was a heavy drinker(cut down a bit now) i was sent for a blood test and was told i had a high liver count i started taking milk thistle caps' after 3 months i went for another test and the result was normal hope this helps

  4. Yes

  5. .Milk Thistle or Wild Artichoke& in Latin Silybum marianum helps cleans the liver yes, it's being hayeld as great help when you've had a heavy weekend of booze. My mate swears by it.

  6. Yes, the herb does work good on repair and cleansing of the liver. It also works good for individuals with Hep.B+C or the alcoholics. The only ones who aren't responding to this treatment are "skeptics" with the need of scientific evidence. Not so long ago, this type of so called "scientific scholars" were arguing in the Aulas of famous universities about "how many angels can dance on the top of a sawing needle". No joke!!

  7. Milk Thistle L.Carduus marianus   protects the liver from hepatoxins. It detoxifies....slows down the rate of disease process and helps renew the cells, is for depression also, and it increases breast milk production

  8. Yes.  It has a remarkable effect on liver function.  In my book "Veterinarians' Guide to Natural Remedies for Cats" many of the holistic veterinarians use it to help cats with liver problems.  And I know that many people use it too.

Personally I would not recommend it to counteract abuse with alcohol

    of someone's liver.

  9. That is the claim

However, there is no quality evidence to support the claim.

There is also no evidence the liver requires "cleansing"...whatever that is supposed to mean.

The liver is the main organ, along with the kidneys, in metabolizing and removing waste products from the body.  It is a very complex organ, with lots of jobs, and it has evolved to do them all very efficiently over millions of years.

It does a pretty good job on its own if we just leave it alone and let it do its thing.  (ie...avoid binge drinking and too much Tylenol for a start)
