What are most economical ways to travel daily from Toronto to Niagara falls (return), Canada.?

I want to travel early in the moring from Toronto to Niagara Falls and want to come back after 5pm.

  1. by car or the Casino shuttle - I am not sure but the Casino shuttle may be free of charge or very cheap and it drops you off at the casino. You can then skip the casino and go to see the falls.


  2. I belive there is a train you can take, you might want to check into it!!!

  3. The drive is about 1hr 45 minutes (depending on what time of day... and how you drive lol) You could take a train aswell, I would imagine it would take longer though, but would also be cheaper.

  4. That is about a 90 mile trip each way. 180 miles per round trip..

    Driving , in  a car, that is about 4 hours of travel each day.

    By bus it will be even longer, as there are no "express buses ' to Niagara falls from Toronto. The buses that do make that trip are all locals ,that stop at each town, along the way.

    I suggest that you check with VIA Rail, the pasenger train service in Toronto, at Union Station on Front Street.  Look  them up in the telephone directory.
