They are also in your brain, not only in your spinal cord. The motor neurons in your brain are upper motor neurons, They are responsible for some voluntary and involuntary muscle control. The lower motor neurons are neurons that connect the brainstem and spinal cord to muscle fibers and they implement muscle movement.
