Ok so I'm in my senior year and thinking about colleges. I plan on going to Campbell University then transferring to a more elite school. Last year my final averages for all my classes were:
English 3: 89 (B)
American Literature: 97 (A)
US History: 97 (A)
Spanish: 98 (A)
Chemistry: 80 (C)
Revelations Bible Studies: 100 (A)
Art 3: 100 (A)
Gym: 100 (A)
Algebra 2: 58 (F)
My final overall average was a 91.1 which equalled out to a 3.8 GPA.
This year I'm taking English Literature, Physics, US Government, Algebra 2 [failed it last year], English 4, Pre-Calculus, Spanish 2, Bible Studies Genesis, and Art 4.
I'm also taking classes at a local college after school taking Psychology, Expository Writing, and next semester Sociology, Introductory French.
So Far this year I have a 100 average in all my classes, including my college courses.
I'm going to take my Sat in 2 months so idk the results for those. But for the CAT (California Aptitude Test) which I took in eleventh grade, I scored as being on a twelfth grade level on every subject but Math Computation, where I scored as being on an eight grade level. In Spelling and regular Math I scored 12.7 as my grade level.
I go to a really small private school and the only extracurricular activity we have is a christmas play. Should I sign up for that so I will have at least one extracurricular on my resume?
But yeah my main question is, using the information I've given, do you think I have even the slightest chance of being considered for as Elite a school as Dartmouth, Cornell or NYU?
