What are my chances at being a Navy Officer with a degree in Education?

I know they want medical, law, engineering, etc., degrees, but Im education. Will they consider me for a Naval Officer?

  1. You should have no problem becoming an Unrestricted Line Officer in the U.S. Navy. These are officers who are eligible for command of combat ships and units. I'm a former Unrestricted Line Officer.

    Generally speaking, those specialty majors you mention are for staff officers or nuclear power engineering officers.
