So here's the deal...

fall 2008 i am going to be a senior at my high school and will be the valedictorian. in addition, I'm captain of the varsity math team and even received a trophy for highest scorer in the school, in the nation honor society and spanish national honor society and am president of both at my school, received a plaque for getting the highest score in writing for the SAT in my school, i have a second degree black belt in tae kwon do, and i was selected among all my peers to go to the prestigious boarding school Choate rosemary hall to do an academic summer program there. The only problem is... i didn't study for the first SAT test which i regret a lot and scored 1400. I am going to take it again in October but i would like to know what are my chances of getting into Brown university and what should I do to improve these chances.

Thank you all

  1. You should do fine.  Get some good letters, write a good essay, and do better on your next SAT.

  2. Call Browns education office and talk to an ad visor.Since this is the school you want to go to they are the subject matter experts on their exact qualifications for you to be enrolled..

  3. If you mean 1400/1600, you'll be a good candidate with a bit of studying and 100 more points.

If you mean 1400/2400, getting the 700 plus more points you need would be impossible in most cases.
