What are my chances of contracting STD/HIV?

Last week I was having intercourse with someone I just met (I know not the best idea) then during s*x my condom slipped off and I penetrated her once then took myself out as soon as I realised, I must have only been in her without protection for 3 seconds. She was also on her period. Just wondering what are my chances of contracting an STD/ HIV

  1. I agree with Bridget. That's so disgusting.

  2. It would all depend on if you knew she HAD an STD or not...

  3. You should not even have done that in the first place. Anyway your chance of contracting HIV/STD are a 50:50 chance. Sorry.

  4. don't have s*x with someone you just met you don't know if they have hiv. Depends on whether she had hiv or not.

  5. hard to tell. wait 2-3- months and go get tested

  6. Get tested

  7. Chances of HIV, pretty darn slim.  The virus dies almost instantly when it comes in contact with the air and chances are she doesnt have it.  Getting tested right away wont really do any good anyway, it could take lots of time to show up. But I wouldnt be too worried about that one.

STIs you can get wether you used protection or not.  Sure, greatly reduced with a condom, but still.  Be a responsible adult and get tested every six months or so and dont stress it too much.  Accidents happen.

  8. Absolutely MINIMAL

  9. ick any girl that would have s*x on her period with someone she doesn't know..  probably has some sort of std.

    i'd get checked dude.

  10. Chances are slim, but more important is the moment after, how long before you took a shower or cleaned yourself off? It's possible, but I doubt it. Even without a condom, you still have a slim chance of not contracting even the worst of STDs

  11. well since it was only a short time there is basically no risk at all. But still i suggest you confront you doctors with this problem just incase.

  12. You still have a chance! I cant give you a percentage but it wont matter how long you have been in for there is always a chance. Try not to panick to much but dont leave it untested. Ring your GP or contact your local family planning clinic for a test to be sure. They will give you all the info you need.
