What are my chances of getting into NYU?

Okay im going into sophmore year.

I sort of took freshman year as a joke.I know ridiculous..

My GPA was a 2.8

last year i was in all lvl 2's.(our school has lvl 1,lvl 2,lvl 3,lvl 4 for freshman year)

(this coming year our school has lvl honors,1,2,3,4)

I will be in half lvl 1's and half lvl 2's

say i get amazing grades for the rest of my high school career will it be possible for me to get in?

I do two sports with the school.

I am also in two clubs.

Before you kill yourself, make sure you can afford NYU. By the time you get there it will be close to $60,000 per year and they have crummy financial aid.

That said, if you work your butt off and get good SATs, it's possible.

Since I studied in the business program, I know that NYU is good for Finance.  Other related business programs will not be worth the tuition.  I would rather go to Cuny-Baruch for Accounting than NYU.  Think about major, and select schools from there.

If you work hard from now on you still have a decent chance of getting in.  Get your gpa up to 3.5+ minimum and try getting into National Honor Society and selective clubs like that.  Also do community service and keep up with sports.
