  1. how about checking out the football program at penn? maybe you could get some sort of scholarship there.

you left out some key points too:

    SAT Is?

    Ethnicity?

    Location?

Schools definitely look into those things too

Edit: How about you contact the Penn coach? those guys are in the joke ivy league conference they don't care about sports! I bet you could get some sort of a scholarship if you put up some good numbers this year, since your grades and extracurriculars have given you a lock into that system

  2. 4.19/4.0 Scale

Class Rank: 59 out of 730

wow...that sounds like a really competitive school...congrats though

I got into Stanford and UPenn...and although I had better sports, community service, work experience, leadership, clubs...you still have a better GPA and SAT II Scores...so congrats on that.

I think you're GPA, your SAT II scores, and the fact that you can play sports pretty much has you as a lock for when you apply for those schools...so I wouldn't stress out too much with such a well-rounded application as yours.

    You're a lock, basically.

Also, Stanford never contacted you about a scholarship? They offered one of my friends a full ride because he played football, and he didn't nearly have the stats you have.

Edit: I see...but you got interest from Pomona and Williams? Dude...Williams is the top liberal arts college in the country! Forget Pomona they're like 7th but I think you should seriously consider Williams as an option. For me, it came down to Stanford, Williams, and UCLA...and I visited all 3 schools, and Williams is a great school.

  3. That's good. Leadership, community service, and good grades. How about SAT reasoning though?
