  1. For Suny and Syracuse, your a good match, and you'll probably get in. My Brother had similar stats to yours and he's now in Cornell (You should try for that one too; it kicks NYU butt)

Just go for all of them, and apply early to your favorite in september. You never know what their looking for.

  2. The last three schools on your list are in the Ivy League and SUPER selective.

NYU is the dream school for students across America (being far easier to get into than Columbia and still in Manhattan.)

I don't know much about Syracuse admissions but Syracuse is a pretty dead city.

The SUNY schools are your best bet.

  3. Reach (where your SATs and GPA are just a bit low for them, but you could get in): Binghamton.

Fit (where your SATs and GPA in combo fit in their ranges): Stony Brook,  Syracuse, New Paltz, Albany, Buffalo. You really should get into New Paltz, Albany and Buffalo. You may well get into Stony Brook and Syracuse.

Super reach, where your SAT and GPA are way low for them: NYU, Brown, Columbia, U Penn. You most likely won't get into these. Your SAT and GPA are not in their ranges. However, if you bring a special talent, or have a compelling story, you could apply to one or two, but still may not get in. If you want a school like NYU, you need to bring all your SAT scores up in line with that math score, if not higher.

  4. Going for all of them makes no sense, put your best effort into schools you have a chance at.

To be honest, you have absolutely no chance at Brown, Columbia and Penn. The first two tske under 13% of applicants and Penn takes 18%. With SAT scores hundreds of points below their averages you would not be considered.

NYU is also a big reach but more possible, especially if you get your scores to all over 600.

The others are worth applying to.
