I am currently a senior in High School and have a cumulative 3.6 GPA. I received a 20 on my ACT (I plan to retake it). Some activities I have been involved at in school is a program called teens reaching youth and Art club. I have done service hours by helping out In a Physicians office. I have a job in which i work 15 hrs a week. (I take care of a handicapped individual). I am Mexican American. I plan to be a General Surgeon when I get older. I have gone to a community college for two years now (during the summer and in the afternoon when the school day ends). and am currently a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Illinois (I live in Illinois). I am currently taking a Phlebotomy technician program and will be certified when I turn 18. (I have 8 weeks experience working in a Hospital).

  1. If you can, take an ACT prep course to boost your score. Have you taken college prep courses? How about Honors and AP courses? What is your class rank? This will be considered when you apply.
