What are my chances of having twins if: ?

my great uncles are fraternal twins (my dad's uncles on his father's side), my aunt (my dad's sister) has fraternal twins, and my dad (with my stepmom) has fraternal twins. (All of this has happened on my dad's side of the family and I am his daughter.) So, does anyone know my chances of having twins?

Your chances are the same as the average person.  Fraternal twins run along the mother's side, not fathers.  They are doing research to see if identical's run down through the fathers side, but nothing yet!  If you were a twin, or your mom, or her mom, your chances would be higer.  Good luck!

I think you would have a higher likelihood of having twins.  They don't always skip a generation either...my friend is a twin and she was blessed with beautiful twin girls herself.  Hope it turns out the way you want it.

It is usually genetic, so I think it is very likely.

Fraternal twins are genetic, but can happen by chance.  Identical twins always happen by chance.  I've always heard that the ability to release multiple eggs is passed down through women, but maybe the ability to do so can be passed down through men as well.  Since your aunt had fraternal twins, I would think that you would be much more likely than the average person to have fraternal twins.  Lucky!

I wondered the same thing as I'm a twin and I have twin cousins too. Although apparently it's suppose to skip a generation so I wouldn't have twins, but my kids might. Not sure how true that is though.

Hmm.Having twins runs in families, so it is a very high chance of you having twins, although it sometimes skips generations.  Also, if you do have twins, they will prob. be fraternal.  

If you are trying to have twins,  I suggest pray and let nature take it's course!
