  1. Well I read somewhere that 1 in 2,000,000,000 people will live to be 116 or older!!!.

  2. It's about 1 in 50 nowadays.   But the older you get, the higher your life expectancy.   Ie. At birth it's around 1 in 50, but for a reasonably healthy 50-year old it might be 1 in 20.

Factors such as not smoking, being female, being the first-born child, exercise and eating healthy, age and health of your parents/grandparents, and access and regular usage of quality health care are some of the biggest factors.

Edit: I found this website where you can calculate your life expectancy:  http://calculator.livingto100.com/calcul...

  3. They are a lot better than mine ... I am already 67.

I had a teacher who, in the 1950's, said that she was envious of her students because almost all of them would live to see the new century. I, in turn, am envious of the youth of today many of whom will live to be 100 or older.

  4. goin by the lyf style of todays generation......no artificial intelligence can help a person to com close to 100 yrs...leave alone crossing it....pollution..new diseases...and natural hazards r in a steep rise...so...it would nearly be impossible to...live for 100 yrs....in the near future..
