What are my chances of still being pregnant?

Ok, I really didn't feel like writing a novel, but I'm starting to panic...

I was 7 weeks pregnant when I started spotting, I went to the doctor, and my HCG levels were REALLY low, like only 4-5 weeks pregnant low. The doctor said that she thought that I might be miscarrying. I passed a large clot 2 days later, and just never went back to the doctor to confirm a miscarriage (yeah, I know I should have)

I was depressed... and didn't want to deal with it. The bleeding lasted about 1 week and ranged from heavy to mild (but it was the heaviest for the first 2 days after I passed the clot)

I just recently heard of women that clot (even large ones) and bleed and are still pregnant. The reason I'm worried is that I've drank several times since then, and if I AM still pregnant, I could have hurt the baby because the early weeks are very important.

Although, my b***s aren't sore anymore either... I'm not really experiencing any other symptoms, but

What are my chances of still being pregnant?

I WOULD be 9 weeks along if I was...

If I took a pregnancy test, would it show a negative now just to put my mind at ease?

  1. You really need to go back to the doctors and let them decide. It sounds like you did miscarry, but there is a small chance you could still be pregnant. You should have just gone once you started bleeding, but if you did test it would probably still come out positive because it takes a while for your body to get back to "normal" after a miscarriage. Best wishes to you.

  2. If you passed that much blood and are no longer having symptoms more than likely you had a miscarriage. I would go to your doctor to make sure you passed everything you should have.
