I have a 3.67 GPA, take/took all gifted classes except the following: AP US History, AP French, AP Literature, AP Psychology, regular level trig, and regular level calculus.

1300 out of 1600 on the SAT

i'm not really involved in many school activities, but i am on the yearbook staff and president of the French Honor Society.

also, i was nominated for GHP in Social Studies, but only made it to the county interviews. is this still a good thing to write on an application?

I know that UGA has been raising their standards over the past few years, so I'm pretty sure I would've gotten in had I graduated from high school a few years ago, but I'm not sure now. Oh, and I'm planning on doing early application. Does this raise my chances in any way? Thanks for any and all help/ advice.

  1. Go back & read your question...I'd say that your chances are not too good if you spell "chances" as "chanes"....that smarta$$ remark aside, it sounds like you are a very good student & I would think that you really do have a good chance.  Good luck to you & GO DAWGS!

  2. You should have a pretty good chance. You record is good.Join some other activities and do some volunteer work.

Just in case apply to other schools as well.
