Hi,

I am a senior at a HBCU due to graduate in the fall, Dec 2008 and I am interested in Delta Sigma Theta sorority, however on my campus they are on probation so there will not be a line until 2010, if I am not mistaking. What can I do to show my interest in this organization? I have already thought about finding a GRAD chapter when I graduate, because I have not had the time 100% before their probation period started, but is that my only option? I am totally fine with that option but that is just a question of mine. I hope this is not an awkard or bad question but I really support this organization and I just want to make sure I am on the right track. I really appreciate whom ever will answer my question.

Thank you

God Bless

  1. How else would you know if you don't ask? Being that you are graduating in the Fall your best bet would be to focus on graduating and starting the next phase in your life. Seeking graduate membership might be the best option for you. If you were thinking about going to another school to pledge, I am sorry to informyou know that you can't do that. If your not enrolled full time in good standing at that school. Meaning if you go to X school and DST is not on yard at X school you can not go to Y school to pledge. This is suppose to apply to graduate chapters as well but I know of some instance where ladies have gone as far a three hours from their local chapters.

Good luck to you and Congrats!
