Question:

What are my options to get rid of yellow spots on my teeth?

I had braces and it was on the spot where my bracket was cemented on. The dentist said it was cosmetic and not a cavity. I don't want yellow spots on my teeth! He said they could treat it like a cavity and fill it but, he didn't want to mess with the tooth because it's otherwise healthy. He also said bleaching wouldn't change it because it was underneath the enamel. Help! :(

  1. Try cleaning it with a mixture of vinegar and salt. Or a mixture of lemon juice and salt. That's great for getting stains off ur teeth. U'll probably have to do it for a few days.

  2. try brushing with peroxide and baking soda..careful not to swallow..may take a while but it will work.

  3. In my office, my Dentist would try bleaching. but usually the spots are white, so I don't know if that would help. We sell this stuff called

"MI paste" that was designed to remineralize those types of spots. You may want to see if any dentist in your area has it.
