I have lost my valuable things due to baggage lost by airline. And they have mentioned the rule that they will compensate baggage loss by paying 200/Kg. Will i have to follow their rule or i can do a complain in consumer court over this. Do i have rights now?

  1. they will pay u an equivalent of us dollars 20 per kilogram and not 200. You have all the rights to go to a counsumer court and file a case against the airlines and in all probablities u will win. The only catch is that u have to prove that u had valueables in the suitcase/

  2. when you buy a ticket, they will bind you with their own terms & Conditions and you may not succeed even if you go to court.

If you have a travel insurance, then you can claim for it.

    If not, lost is lost.
