  1. You might need to better explain your question. Do you mean something like putting posters on walls, or notices on telephone poles? If so, one generally has no right to do either.

  2. depends on your city. most cities do have rules about what you can put up, how long you can leave it up etc. Call the city and ask

  3. You have the right of expression but be sure not to abuse the right.

  4. its called posting bills, like pasting, stapling, attaching and it is against the law in most states punishable by a fine or imprisonment or both.

  5. Limited.  You cannot post on other people's private property, and most cities have laws against it.  Print something up and put in on car windows.  That annoys almost everyone.

Buy a page in a local paper.

  6. you have few "rights" to do that because of what are you going to post "upon".

practically everything is privately owned, so you will have few "rights" to "post up".

  7. Posting on public utility poles is usually illegal. In Boston it's $300 per day for each poster put up without the Mayor's permission. Posting on mail boxes is a federal offense. Posting on private property is trespass. Posting on car windshield wipers is mischief, trespass and littering. Tagging is malicious defacement of property.
