  1. I don't really know for sure but I think it's for the full length non stop laps full power for timing and qualifications yet again, I'm really not sure so someone else here might know for sure.

  2. No-Cut means that everyone who tries out makes the team. Everyone would be on the JV team and the really really good people go on the Varsity team. On our swim team, everyone does the same thing, everyone swims in meets; because swimming is really an individual event, you vs. time. On our high school team, not everyone goes to the away game only because of budget costs for the transportation buses.

  3. I wouldn't know either but in football no-cut would mean that the coach wouldn't cut anyone from the team, it was upon that individuals choice to stay or go.  It might means something like that or what was said above.

  4. It can mean 2 things.  That everyone trying out makes the team, or that there are not cuts (times) to be faster than to try out.  If it is to get onto a highschool team it is the first one.

  5. That means that everyone makes the team.  You might not get to swim in a meet, but you get to work out with everyone and maybe swim jv or something.
