What are non-recycable materials?

How to explain the need to recycle to a 5 year old and what can i do to encourage them? tks all.

  1. any thing that doesn't get top dollar like i will not even recycle aluminum cans if the price for scrap aluminum is not above $0.55 a lb

    we can recycle cans and bottles...tell him hes helping the world..

  6. virtually anything can be recycled with the exception of nuclear waste (and that can be re-processed in many cases). wood, food items, and other decomposables like yard waste can be composted. items that can go to recycling facilities are: plastic, glass, metal of any kind, rubber, cardboard, paper of all kinds, batteries. nonconventional items like ink cartridges, computers and components, used oil can be taken to special places that take these kinds of things (do some research in your area where you can dispose of these items)
