    "Life is far too important to be taken seriously." - Oscar Wilde

    "What we are is God's gift to us.  What we become is our gift to God." – Eleanor Powell

    "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." - Mark Twain

    God give me the courage to accept the things I cannont change, And the Wisdom to know the difference

  3. Treat people as you would like to be treated yourself  (With Respect)

  4. Its a prayer:

    God, give me the courage to change the things I can change,

    the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, and the Wisdom to know the difference.

  5. "What makes the desert beautiful," said the little prince, "is that somewhere it is hidding a well."

    From le petit prince (the little prince) by Antoine de saint Exupery

  6. God Has Already Given Me Everything I Need

    I cannot give you what I do not have

    I didn't got to be here...I get to be here..

    All reality exists in language

    I cannot recieve what I've never asked for...

  7. Not sure anyone can actually live by all these but my mother liked to remind me of the advice that Shakespeare wrote for the character Polonius in the play Hamlet, Act 2, Sceene iii.

    Give thy thoughts no tongue,

    Nor any unproportion’d thought his act.

    Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar.

    Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried,

    Grapple them to thy soul with hoops of steel;

    But do not dull thy palm with entertainment

    Of each new-hatch’d, unfledg’d comrade. Beware

    Of entrance to a quarrel but, being in,

    Bear’t that th’ opposed may beware of thee.

    Give every man thy ear, but few thy voice;

    Take each man’s censure, but reserve thy judgement.

    Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy,

    But not express’d in fancy; rich, not gaudy;

    For the apparel oft proclaims the man;

    And they in France of the best rank and station

    Are of a most select and generous chief in that.

    Neither a borrower, nor a lender be;

    For loan oft loses both itself and friend,

    And borrowing dulls the edge of husbandry.

    This above all: to thine own self be true,

    And it must follow, as the night the day,

    Thou canst not then be false to any man

    Sparks notes translates this as;

    Don't say what you're thinking, and don't be too quick to act on what you think. Be friendly to people but don't overdo it. Once you've tested out your friends and found them trustworthy, hold onto them. But don't waste your time shaking hands with every new guy you meet. Don't be quick to pick a fight, but once you're in one, hold your own. Listen to many people, but talk to few. Hear everyone's opinion, but reserve your judgment. Spend all you can afford on clothes, but make sure they're quality, not flashy, since clothes make the man—which is doubly true in France. Don't borrow money and don't lend it, since when you lend to a friend, you often lose the friendship as well as the money, and borrowing turns a person into a spendthrift. And, above all, be true to yourself. Then you won't be false to anybody else.

  8. Life is not the way it's supposed to be,

    It's the way it is,

    The way you cope with it makes all the difference.

  9. I shall pass this way but once, therefore any good that I can do or any kindness that I can show, let me do it now.

    Let me not defer, not neglect it as I shall not pass this way again.
