What are other jobs that teachers can do besides being in the classroom??

work in an adventure park for kids

private tuition in any subject

work for private or public firms teaching workers on something

You could work in the training department of any company....you could work in personnel.....or research....all of these jobs are like a teacher.

If you're a REAL (qualified, with a degree) teacher, then you can work on:

1. Curriculum design

2. Methodology preparation

3. Classroom supervision

4. School and school district supervision

5. School directing (principal)

6. Textbook writing

7. Educational research (learning analysis)

8. Teach in prison, or in shelters

9. School planning

10. Volunteering: teaching in Africa or other places where teachers are much needed, teaching teachers how to teach.

Set up a tutoring business?

Teach our military overseas?

Work on a cruise ship as a tutor or such?

If you are talking about supplementing your income, tutoring for a private company or starting your own after school tutoring business.  If you have your Master's degree, you could possible teach as an adjunct professor at a local college.

If you are talking about just teaching your students outside of the classroom, expanding your classroom to other locations, fieldtrips that correspond to what you're teaching would be good.  Math... take your students to the local fastfood place and let them figure out how much money they need to buy lunch.  History.... the local museum.... science... perhaps a beach or lake.   There are many different places.

You could probably work for a corporation and make on-line training modules for employees.  Childcare in your home for school age children or preschoolers.
