What are other virus/pandemic movies?

I love human extinction type movies involving some sort of virus or event that basically either causes the "undead" or complete extinction. I don't want stupid movies that SAY there's a virus but never actually explain anything (such as Diary of the Dead)

I like movies like 28 Days/Weeks Later and that chicken flu movie.

This is probably out of the range you are looking for, but The Stand (although there is no 'undead'). Granted, it's a mini-series, but of all Stephen King's books made into movies, this was one of two that I really enjoyed.

As long as the mini-series is (four DVDs in length... 8 hours total, I think), it's definitely easier to get through than the novel.
