What are people's favoritve things to do on vacation?

Ride our motorcycles! Hubby and I both have 2 wheeled conveyances.

It all depends where one goes but the ideal is to escape the routine of your day-to-day life.

If going to a foreign country I would suggest checking out the markets & dining.  Experience their culture to the best of you abilities.  

Also, take in as much of the natural scenery as possible as mother earth has plenty to offer.

I love to walk around and look at the local architecture. I love museums and home tours, especially plantations in the South. I also love to eat the local food.
