  1. Contact your municipality responsible for the pickup and tell them the problem.

  2. Hmmm...interesting question and answers, because where I live there's no such thing as 'calling the city'...they get here when they get here.  We pay to have recycling cans/dumpsters...no one (not even a school) is paid to have one.  Additionally the recycle plants only take one type of thing (beer/soda cans----food cans-----plastic bottles------glass bottles-------newspaper & phone books-------cardboard.......all separate places.

I suppose I would splurge on an extra large plastic trash can with lid from someplace like Ace Hardware or Sears, so it could be kept in the back yard until the regular recycle cans were picked up.  Not much else would work, here at least.

  3. Call the garbage company in your city.OR put it out again on the next recycling day for that item.Even thou the garbage people limit the amount of garbage you can have any amount of recycleable goods.

  4. Why not take them to a Tesco recycle point - you get a green point for every 4 items donated, plastic, can or glass

  5. If you're paying for garbage pick up, call up and complain.

  6. Get another bucket or can and tape a label to it that says "extra recyle set-out".

  7. Put them in a plastic bag till you call them and have them pick it up..

  8. Call the city to have it picked up.

  9. I do not leave my recycling for them to pick it up, because half of the time they do not pick it up so I take it to the nearest recycling trailers. The one I use and know of is the one on Lafrainer Road at the Commins parking lot. You can't miss it. I am not sure if that is close to you but if you would like I can look it up for you or you can try to look it up on line.

  10. Hello Wendy, my name is Andrea.  I live in McKinney, I am a single mother of three and I have been looking for additional ways to make ends meet.  I would love to take ur cans and any other recyclable metals off ur hands.  I would also be willing to do the same for any of ur freinds and neighbors that might be interested.    It would be helpuing u and ur freinds and at the same time, it would be a blessing to me and my family as well.  Hope to hear from u soon.
