What are peoples problems with brown eyes?!?!?

so my 2 best friends have absolutely gorgeous eyes.

one of them has light green eyes with yellow speckles in them

and my other friend has grayish blueish eyes with the slightest bit of yellow in them, they almost look like cat eyes.

I always compliment their eyes almost every time i see them because, they are so pretty

Anyways ive always have been a big fan of peoples eye color and i find it very interesting.

so a couple weeks ago we were just hanging out and i said

you know, i always compliment your eyes, but you never say anything about mine!

so they both liked examined my eye color and they said

mmmm, i don't know...there just kinda.... bland

yeah kinda dull.

And ever since then ive been really self conscious about my eyes and ive been going on line and whenever someone asks brown or blue eyes?

everyone always say blue

and people describe their eyes and they all just sound so gorgeous!

so right now i have 2 questions for you

which is your preferred eye color?

haha..i only prefer blue eyes because i have blue eyes....but i have seen some amazing brown eyes out there. yours are included..they are this light brown color that is gorgeous. if they don't like ur eyes...s***w them!

If your that self concious about your eye color, then get color contacts.

And who really cares about what people think. And I have a feeling your eye color isn't that light because it looks like you had flash on your camera and they appear lighter on camera then they are in person.

But their pretty.

Brown eyes can be gorgeous. I've been dating this guy who has very dark brown eyes and I just can't stop looking in those eyes with admiration. I have blue eye myself and I think they're so common (at least where I live).

I've heard people kiss more romantically if they have the same eye color.

since then I liked guys with brown eyes.

but its probably just a myth. eheh.

they're not boring, but they're not spectacular eyes - atleast not from that angle. I think they're a very pretty shade of brown, but I would have to see a full picture of you to really be sure.

ask for what I prefer when it comes to eye color, unless it was a spectacular shade of blue, I'd have to say brown. Some blue eyes are just so...boring.

I think your eyes are gorgeous!! They almost look the same as mine, like the same shade. Don't listen to what anyone says, every eye color is beautiful. I personally like brown eyes better than anything else, and I'm not just saying that because I have brown eyes, lol. But anyway, just don't worry..your eyes are really pretty and there is nothing boring about them at all. People always tell me that my eyes are really pretty, and I don't even ask them at all! =D

HELLO! Did Audrey Hepburn have color eyes? ... no! Brown eyes are extremely beautiful and warm! I love having brown eyes! They never go out of style, you can wear any color of eye make up that you want, any hair color. People with colored eyes are limited to the colors they can wear.

Sounds like your friends have a little more to cat eyes .... they act catty too! what losers!

honestly it's a little odd to complement people on there eye colour all the time, though i imagine it is odd in an endearing way. however it's not the kind of thing you should expect to see in others. and when you basically demand a complement you kind of put them on the spot.

personally i wouldn't say i prefer any eye colour. i hate how we feel the need to define one thing as beautiful and preferable and make everything else second rate. blue eyes and brown eyes are both beautiful, i like my grey blue eyes on me, but i also admire many of my friends brown eyes. people are all different and individual, we shouldn't just be looking at how far someone deviates form a single ideal of beauty

as for your eyes, they're a lovely light golden brown, certainly not bland, but in all honesty i've never seen anyone with bland eyes, not if you really look. i think eyes are a feature that are always beautiful and completely unique, they shouldn't just be classified and rated according to colour

I have very dark brown eyes almost black and some people like them because of their intensity but i prefer green as they sparkle like gems lol but i think you're eye colour is BEAUTIFUL lol as their brown but with golden like streaks forget your friends you eyes are cool :D

I have big dark brown eys and I wouldnt trade them for the world! Be proud of your DNA... its unique to you!
